Depicting the Work of the Wycliffe Bible Translators
#1- Michael took this picture of a little girl in Papua New Guinea (PNG). It
depicts going from darkness into the light of the gospel. It was taken while visiting the Faiwal language group, The Falwal scriptures were translated by Frank and Charlotte Mecklengberg.

#3 – Dave Hockett was an SIL teacher Michael knew many years ago while doing illustrations for literacy materials in Columbia, S. A. . The student is Kathy Krikorian.
#4- The Cessna 206 pilot is Chris Bowers. Tom Kelley, Wycliffe Associates’ Program manager at the time of the painting, is in the red shirt. This picture was taken in Wonenara, PNG. The bags contain coffee beans. Someday, such a plane will be unloading boxes of New Testaments in the language of the young people watching.
#5 – The Sepia painting depicts some of the early , pioneering translators at work. Note the cross in the background; Michael incorporated it from the cross placed in the brick wall found in the foyer of Wycliffe Associates U. S. Headquarters.
